Subject: Prayer for establishing a debating club in the school.

Sir,
With due respect, I beg to state that I am a student of class nine of your school. Our school is a renowned institution in this area, but unfortunately there is no debating club here. I think a debating club is badly needed for the all-round development of the students.

A debating club will help us to develop our speaking skills, confidence and power of logical thinking. It will also encourage us to read more, to gather knowledge about current affairs and to respect others' opinions. Many students of our school are interested in debating and have the potential to do well in inter-school competitions, which will bring more honour to our school.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to permit us to establish a debating club in our school and appoint a teacher as its moderator. We will follow all rules and discipline of the school.
