দশম শ্রেণির ছাত্র মিশকাত বিদ্যালয়ের আসবাবপত্র, শিক্ষা উপকরণ যথাযথভাবে রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করে, শিক্ষকদের সম্মান করে ও সুন্দরভাবে পড়াশুনা করে। জনাব আসিফ সাহেব একজন সৎ ব্যবসায়ী। তার সংসারে অভাব-অনটন লেগেই থাকে। তাঁর স্ত্রী মাঝে-মধ্যে বিরক্ত হয়ে অতিরিক্ত মুনাফার জন্য পণ্যে ভেজাল ও ওজনে কম দেওয়ার পরামর্শ দেয়। কিন্তু আসিফ সাহেব এ ব্যাপারে রাজি হন না।

মাসুদ সাহেব সবার সাথে কথা-বার্তায়, কাজ-কর্ম ও আচার-আচরণে সততার নীতি অবলম্বন করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি মানুষের কাছে বিশ্বস্ত এক ব্যক্তি। মামুন সাহেব কোনো একটি কাজের জন্য অফিসে গেলে অফিসের - কর্মকর্তা তাকে জানান, কেবল অফিস ফি দিয়ে কোনো কাজ হবে না। কাজ সম্পাদন করতে গেলে অতিরিক্ত অর্থ দিতে হবে।
